Brimman Frazer oversees the day-to-day operations of Sorbster, including manufacturing, QC, R&D, shipping, staff management, expense control and other activities crucial to uninterrupted business.
 
Brimman has a background growing and running small teams from his time working in Japan and Hong Kong. His skills focus around maximizing employee productivity, team building, researching, and implementing policies for business growth, and the ability to work in a varied and demanding role.

President

Cecilia Cruickshank is a private investor focusing on start-up, emergent technology companies. She retired from Cruickshank Capital Management, which she founded to serve high net worth investors and private foundations. She has a successful record of portfolio out-performance over more than three decades.

Ms. Cruickshank graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a BA in Political Science. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

NANCY SHERWOOD portrait

NANCY SHERWOOD

Vice President of Technology

Nancy Sherwood is currently the Vice President of Technology for Sorbster. Cooling water treatment, scale and deposit control, oilfield chemicals and wastewater trace contaminant removal are her specialties. Following graduation from Case Western Reserve University with a degree in Geology, Sherwood worked for Calgon Corporation in Pittsburgh, PA in the Water Management Division for much of her career. She spent time researching polymeric and other organic chemical treatments and pilot systems development for water treatment applications.

She headed Calgon’s research and development activities as Director of Research and continued as a Research Director for six years at Nalco Chemical Company after the two companies merged. Mrs. Sherwood managed new product development, the water analytical lab, chemical procurement approvals and technical product support activities while at the Nalco Naperville, IL headquarters. Prior to joining Sorbster, Mrs. Sherwood was with Kemira Chemicals in Kennesaw, GA as Senior R&D Manager for Mining and Formation Technology and the Additives Business Unit.

Her combined water treatment and geology/mining expertise has led to product characterization, technical application guidelines, optimized pilot units, quality control of manufacturing and new product development for Sorbster.

Richard has more than 35 years of Sales Management and Business Development experience in a broad range of market segments and products. During those years, he guided his previous companies through both the strategic planning and commercialization process with unrivaled success.

Following his graduation from Penn State University (1981) with a B.S. degree in chemical engineering, Richard started his career as a process and technical engineer for Proctor & Gamble. After those early career stepping-stone years, Richard later became the Director of Technology and Marketing Services at the Calgon Corporation, where he served for eight years. He followed this with three years at Vulcan Performance Chemicals until he became the Vice President, Oil & Gas at Kemira Chemicals, Inc. Since he left Kemira three years ago, he has continued work in the chemicals industry with Synalloy Corp and Siemens Industry Inc.

As President & CEO, his valuable experience, expertise and insight will drive recurring revenue of Sorbster technology. He leads a highly effective team focused on leveraging technology to provide customers around the world with economically viable solutions to metal removal.
